This case where a pregnant gal died after having sepsis, apparently caused by a miscarriage, even though she had the sepsis first when there was still a detectable heartbeat from the baby, and was sent home with sepsis only to come back to the ER to die.
The story blames Texas's abortion laws for the death of this young woman because the doctor apparently wanted to have the heartbeat checked again after no heartbeat was recorded before they would perform lifesaving procedures on her because they supposedly were afraid of prosecution for performing an abortion.
However, I have now read the abortion laws and there are provisions to exclude the necessity of finding a fetal heartbeat if it is to save the life of the mother. There are exemptions for this case, but the media has the doctors scared. There are also provisions to prevent the prosecution of the mother who has an abortion, and the media scares women into thinking they're going to be prosecuted for having an abortion, even medically necessary ones [which are extremely rare].
Nothing in Texas's abortion laws are the cause of this poor girls death. Incompetence is the cause of her death. She should have never been sent home with sepsis, they didn't need to search for the heartbeat before performing life-saving measures, and if she had miscarried then she wouldn't be getting an abortion because the baby was already dead. If a dead baby was in her when they sent her home with sepsis it is even more incompetence and malpractice.
While I feel for the girl and her family and her death is a tragedy, it is not caused by the Texas abortion laws and it is not right to scare women by lying and blaming the abortion laws for what is really wrong—Incompetence during medical care.

Resident Biden was caught saying something bizarre to French President Macron, on a hot mic, at the recent D-Day event.
While he walked into the ceremony with Macron and their First Ladies, he can be heard on video saying, “My advance team said I gotta leave, be the first one to leave, because I hold people up.”
Macron did not respond, continued heading toward the event, and then was left to run around shaking the WWII veterans hands after Sleepy Joe and DOCTOR Jill swiftly took off under rather strange circumstances.
Directly before he was whisked away by his wife, Biden stiffly appeared to pop a geriatric squat as though he was having the issues similar to those of a non-potty-trained toddler.
Apparently, it was, in fact, the plan the whole time to leave the visibly shocked French President to do the American President's duty to run around greeting and shaking the hands of the brave American soldiers who fought the Nazis on D-Day.
